Desert Mac Users Group
DMUG is the oldest Mac Users Group in the Coachella Valley. Like RMUG, they meet monthly and always have great presentations and speakers. You can get full information at their website. Consider attending one of their monthly meetings (usually the first Wednesdays of each month at 1:30PM) at the Palm Desert Library to seek more variety in information on all things Mac!
DMUG's Moderator, Mimi van der Voort, publishes a monthly recap of their meetings and includes an incredibly extensive list of links to new stories and programs that is always interesting to browse. She usually charges a nominal Five Dollars per year for the monthly emails but they are currently being offered for free. I highly recommend you contact her to get on her mailing list. Mimi can be reached at: [email protected]
